A Photo and Its Story

The dog in the photograph is my 16 year old partner Pepa🐶. I took this photo three days ago after healing her leg, since she has a tumor with an open wound on her left leg (the purple color is from an insect spray).

The Pepa has been my most faithful companion in all this time💕, my first memories were with her and she literally follows me everywhere (as far as she can). As a child she was very restless, she loved going out for walks🌳, jumping and meeting other dogs🐕, especially males, she is a very flirtatious dog that has had many puppies🐩. In fact my grandmother keeps a puppy from her first litter, his name is Toby and they have the same colors.

Unfortunately dogs are not eternal😴, she in addition to having the tumor has a heart murmur and a possible ramification of internal tumors, which means that we cannot operate on her, the treatments would only slow their progress.

A few months ago I had a blood panic, when I took tests I would faint 💉:( but since we have to treat him almost every day I am almost a nurse🚑. Although it should be noted that my father and my boyfriend always help me to affirm it and cut it bandages, without them I could not do it💙.

With my family we have made the difficult decision that it is time for her to rest, so this could be her last photo, it is a very hard time for everyone but we only want the best for Pepa, she is the best dog I could meet in life and I will always carry it in my heart.
